Terms of service

Plain-English terms for using ReplyCrew. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign up.

The service

ReplyCrew writes and posts replies to reviews and messages on behalf of your business. Replies are generated automatically and published without you approving each one, unless you choose otherwise. By connecting your account you are explicitly authorising us to post replies on your behalf.

What we post, and the limits on it

Replies are written to sound like you, based on the voice settings you give us. We apply automatic checks that prevent a reply from admitting legal fault, offering money or refunds, naming your staff, or arguing with a customer. Reviews involving injury, major property damage, insurance or a demand for compensation are always held for a person rather than answered automatically.

These checks reduce risk; they do not eliminate it. Replies are published under your business name and you remain responsible for your public presence. If a reply is ever wrong, tell us and we will remove it as quickly as we can.

Platform rules

We only post automatically where the platform allows a service provider to do so with your permission. Google permits this. Yelp does not — Yelp requires the business owner to post their own replies, so for Yelp we write the reply and you post it. We will not work around any platform's rules on your behalf.

Google reviews replies before publishing them, so timing is not entirely in our control.

Payment

Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Reply packs are a one-off purchase and the replies do not expire. You can cancel at any time and there is no contract or cancellation fee. If you have paid yearly and cancel partway through, we refund the months you have not used.

If a payment fails we will pause posting rather than delete anything, and let you know.

Your responsibilities

  • You confirm you own or are authorised to manage the business profiles you connect.
  • You will keep your voice settings accurate, including anything you do not want promised to customers.
  • You will not use the service to post anything false, misleading or unlawful.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by cancelling or by revoking our access from your Google account. We may end the service if it is being used in a way that breaks these terms or a platform's rules.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the issue arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
